The OC Fairgrounds gets a wee bit tweedy May 27 & 28 when this festival makes its yearly visit to Santa Ana. This lively celebration of Scottish and Celtic cultures features bagpipes and drumming performances along with demonstrations of traditional dances like Highland Fling and the Sailor’s Hornpipe. There also are age-old athletic competitions, including the Caber Toss and the Farmers Walk, and a “children’s glen” with activities for youngsters. Hours both days are 10 am-6 pm.
