Whether you call it the Mid-Autumn Festival, this seasonal holiday, also known as the Moon Festival or the Mooncake Festival, has long been celebrated in many East and Southeast Asian communities. The event, presented by the city of Irvine, offers an enchanting evening of live entertainment, crafts, artistic demonstrations, food trucks, and educational cultural activities. The festival, which has free admission, takes place on September 29 in Irvine’s Great Park from 5 pm-9 pm.
