September is National Child Awareness Month. It is also when the Festival of Children happens in South Coast Plaza. Every weekend from September 5-27, families can enjoy free live entertainment, hands-on crafts and interactive activities as well as having the chance to learn about over 70 child-geared non-profit organizations.
