Headline news: The Disney musical Newsies is coming to Irvine’s Musical Theatre Village this summer. The hit show was inspired by the actual Newsboys Strike of 1899, but history has rarely been told in a more rousing way. It was a big success with audiences since it arrived on Broadway in 2012.
