The Fiesta de las Golondrinas features a variety of events to celebrate the annual arrival of swallows to San Juan Capistrano. March 21 contains two long-time favorites. The 21st marks the Old West-flavored Hoos’ Gow Day (9 am-4 pm) where you just might be “arrested” if you aren’t dressed in western wear. From 4 pm-6 pm, the family-favorite Frog Jumping Contest will be hopping in Los Rios Park.
