Villa Park Fourth of July Parade

This annual Fourth of July community event lets you decorate your bike, scooter, wagon, skateboard, stroller, or whatever you want to parade around on (even motorized vehicles can participate) in something suitably patriotic for this 1.5-mile-long parade. It starts at 9 am at Villa Park High School (line-up begins at 8:30 am); the route goes through Villa Park and ends back at Villa Park High School.
