White Cane Safety Day

Join Pretend City on October 15 and celebrate the abilities and independence of visually impaired people. Activities, including an obstacle course done while blind-folded, will help youngsters better understand, and increase their empathy for, those with vision impairments. The nonprofit organization Beyond Blindness will be offering free vision screenings and provide sight-related resources for those at the museum.
