
With May being Pacific Islander Month, this month’s cuisine program at Pretend City will explore Tongan/Samoan culture. On May 11, the museum will host members of the Fifita Family who’ll share some traditions of the Tongan/Samoan cultures and food. Parents and kids will get to sample food such as Lu Pulu along with learning about the cyclical relationship revolving around the Earth, food, and the Tongan/Samoan people.
