Black Star Canyon has a family hike starting from the Red Rocks staging area on December 7, while families can do a hike in the Agua Chinon area of the Limestone Canyon Nature Preserve December 14. There’s also a family hike happen December 21 in Irvine Open Space Preserve’s Round Canyon. The hikes are all recommended for ages 6 and older and occur 3 pm-5:30 pm. Registration is required.
