Knott’s Berry Farm’s new rollercoaster “Hangtime,” is now open. The coaster starts out by taking riders straight up. Once over the top of the lift hill, the car is held for two seconds before dropping down a 96-degree, 5-story drop on its quick journey. The ride lasts 80 seconds, including the time on the lift hill of the 2,198 feet of track and five inversions with a top speed of 57 mph.

The all-day Grand Opening event is scheduled for 10 a.m. on June 1st and will include complimentary sweet treats, drinks and specialized beauty treatments. The beauty department will feature free cosmetic and skincare consultations, as well as regular beauty events.
