Cilek Kid’s Room, which will open a store in Costa Mesa in February, offers an imaginative assortment of children’s furniture, including racecar beds complete with music, animation and lights, and a series of whimsical princess furniture.
“Our products are unique in every sense,” said Talha Cilek, the company’s president and chief executive. “Most of our items are theme-based. We have racecar beds, ship beds, and what you see on the market is no match for our items.”

Playground Opening
The Shops at Mission Viejo is celebrating the opening of its new play area. The mall’s latest indoor attraction encourages kids to interact and play STEAM-focused games, including activities focused on technology and the sciences. Its grand opening on Feb. 17 will run from 10:30 a.m. through 12 p.m. to give the public its first glimpse of the play area. It is located on the mall’s upper level near PacSun and Windsor Fashions. Grand opening attendees can enjoy crafts, face painting, a balloon artist and more.

This will be music to little girls’ ears: South County’s Singers Company has launched a new program designed to teach three- and four-year-olds to sing. The program offers weekly, 50-minute classrooms that help preschool-aged kids improve their vocals through dancing, singing, and having fun with friends.
