See Jane Go

Published October 6, 2016Admin Only:

See Jane Go

Founder William Jordan’s daughter, Savannah of Laguna (pictured), expressed interest in driving for an existing ride-hail service. William was adamantly opposed, due to concern for his daughter’s safety. With that, the idea for See Jane Go, the first women-driving-women ride-hail app, was born. Today, See Jane Go meets the specific needs of female drivers and passengers in Orange County. It is steered by an all-female executive management team and committed to providing women the opportunity to earn an income on their terms and providing a trusted ride-hail alternative for female passengers.

Kind Karma

Kind Karma

Lake Forest

Yoga is good for our mental and physical health. Many parents want to fit in a yoga class once or twice a week but childcare is always a deterrent. Kind Karma is the first and only yoga studio in all of Orange County to offer simultaneous/consecutive yoga classes for parents and children. You walk in with your child, drop her/him off at the kids’ studio, then walk across the corridor to your own studio. Kids classes run 60 minutes and adults classes run 50 minutes(starting 5 minutes after and finishing 5 minutes before kids class), giving parents just enough time to get a great workout between drop off and pick up. Founder Nashita Dastur is also trained to teach kids with special abilities(Autism, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders).

Smiles X-Press Teledentistry Program in OC Schools

Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County just launched the first Virtual Dental Home program in Orange County, providing students with onsite comprehensive exams, preventative services, and temporary dental treatment through the use of portable dental equipment. “Dental disease is the No. 1 chronic disease of children and it is almost entirely preventable,” said Ria Berger, CEO of Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County. “Providing access to preventative services early provides a lifetime of benefits. When children are free from active dental disease, they also miss fewer days of school and are better able to learn.” Smiles X-Press is made possible through funding provided by Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian along with private foundations and donors.
