This market is truly the mother of all invention. More than 150 local mompreneurs make this holiday market a very unique shopping experience. Come out for a weekend of gift-buying, food, and fun. This event is too monumental to miss so come on out to support these moms in business. Kids can get a free photo with Santa each day from 10 am-11:30 am. The market is open on November 17 from 10 am-5 pm and 10 am-4 pm on November 18.

A Christmas Carol

Returning for its 39th year, South Coast Rep’s acclaimed original adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ classic represents a local holiday tradition. Returning too is actor Hal Landon Jr. as Scrooge for the 39th year. No shows most Mondays and some Tuesdays & Wednesdays. No children under the age of 6 will be admitted.

Stratford Country Fair
Friday, November 2
At the Stratford School’s annual Country Fair, families can have a good old time enjoying a Bungee Trampoline, a Giant Slide, live country music, line dancing, face painting, town jail, cake walk and a variety of carnival games hosted by Stratford students and families. The Fair, which runs 4:30 pm-8:30 pm, will benefit CHOC Children’s. Advance online reservations requested.

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort
Friday, November 9 – Sunday, January 6
You will experience plenty of holiday cheer at Disneyland and California Adventure. Both parks will present special entertainment, such as Festival of Holidays and the “Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular. Attractions like It’s a Small World and Haunted Mansion get seasonal makeovers. There’ll be holiday happenings, decorations and treats too. Park hours vary; check the website for full details.

Wilderness Access Day: Bommer Canyon
Saturday, November 17
Today, from 8 am-2 pm, the entire southern Open Space Preserve trail network will be open for self-guided hiking and biking. Among the areas that visitors can access are the single-tracks in Shady Canyon and Bommer Canyon that regularly are reserved for guided activities only. Registration is not required for this free event.
