In June, the children’s museum offers youngsters several opportunities to learn about protecting our planet. On June 5, members of the Surfrider Foundation will visit Pretend City for World Environment Day to show how pollutants enter the watershed and wind up damaging the ocean. More lessons on caring for our oceans occur over World Oceans Weekend June 8-9. All these engaging 30-minute educational sessions will happen at 11 am and 2:30 pm.
