Pretend City hosts several wonderful Wednesdays as part of its Literacy Month Author Celebration. September 13 (9:30 am-12 pm) features pirate-themed activities to accompany a reading of Where Do Pirates Go On Vacation. Magic is the motif for September 20’s activities (11 am-3 pm) that include the book The Magical Life of Elf The Blind Wonder Do. Jocelyn “Joy” Franiso reads her book Damdaman at September 27’s 11 am storytime, which also offers fun hands-on activities.
