With Earth Day arriving soon, the South Coast Botanic Garden, on April 1, is opening this exhibit that is all about recycling. Through the Garden, visitors will encounter 16 beautiful sculptures that have been constructed from beach debris and other trash. These sculptures, which will be at SCBG through September, are among the 60-some pieces done by the non-profit, Washed Ashore-Art to Save the Sea, to combat, and raise awareness of, plastic pollution.
