San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Events : Frog Jumping Contest

On March 22, the day before SCJ’s Swallows Day festivities, the city presents a pair of amusing annual events. Hoos’ Gow Day provides some Wild West-inspired wackiness: if you’re not wearing western clothes in downtown San Juan Capistrano between 9 am-4 pm, you could get “arrested” – but it’s all for fun and charity. Then, the annual Frog Jumping Contest will be hopping in Los Rios Park (4 pm-6 pm). Check website for more details.
