The San Diego Zoo invites visitors to hang out extra longer with them during the summer. Through August 10 (except June 21), the Zoo will stage open until 8 pm. The special “Nighttime Zoo” activities (that actually start at 3:30 pm) include things like high-energy trampoline shows, talented Tanzanian acrobats, and interactive and educational presentations with fan-favorite Dr. Zoolittle. Another highlight is “Jambo Dunia!,” a performance that spotlights East African music and dance.
