You may have seen The Little Mermaid before, but probably not like this. Opera Chapman is staging a full-scale performance of Dvořák’s masterpiece that is lengthier and a little darker than your standard Little Mermaid. Parents should also know that there are strobe lighting effects and theatrical haze too. Performances happen 7:30 pm April 24 and 2 pm April 26 at Chapman University’s Musco Center in Orange.
