Presidents’ Day Free Admission at Joshua Tree National Park

There are a number of free admission days at national parks every year, and one of them falls this month on Feb. 16 — Presidents’ Day. Situated just a two-hour drive from Orange County near Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree National Park has two distinct desert ecosystems and offers several hiking trails, stargazing, guided tours, scenic drives, 4×4-ing and camping grounds available to guests.
