In honor of the Jewish New Year, Pretend City is throwing a Rosh Hashanah party on September 15 with holiday-themed activities (including apple and honey taste-tests) and a storytime reading of Happy Birthday, World. On September 29, the museum celebrates the Jewish harvest holiday, Sukkot, with lemon stamping, horn blowers (aka Shofars), a reading of Tamar’s Sukkah, and a sukkah-building project being part of the day’s activities.
