Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego unveils a unique new immersive art installation on February 8. Hold Fast offers a fascinating look at Southern California’s kelp forests and the effect that climate change has had on them – all conceived by three local artists and scientists. The installation is on view until September, and the Aquarium is open daily 9 am-5 pm (and until 7 pm March 1 through Labor Day).
