Hinamatsuri is a traditional holiday celebrated in Japan that Pretend City also celebrates annually. Hinamatsuri means “Doll Festival” but it is more commonly known as Girl’s Day. On March 3 (10 am-4 pm), the museum hosts a day honoring and inspiring young girls. A highlight includes a strawberry mochi taste test that will happen after the 11 am and 2:30 pm storytimes.
