San Juan Capistrano’s celebration of the swallows’ annual visit to the city includes the family-friendly Frog Jumping Contest (4 pm-6 pm, March 20) at Los Rios Park. On March 21, the Swallows Day Mercado Street Faire fills the Historic Town Center Park (9 am-5 pm) with music, dancing and a Kids Play Zone. Plus, the 66th Swallows Day Parade happens from 11 am to 1 pm — this year’s theme is “Trails, Tails & Traditions — 250 Years.”
