Festival of Children

This long-running community festival, staged as part of National Child Awareness Month, serves up an exciting selection of free activities, celebrity appearances, and live performances every weekend at South Coast Plaza from September 7-29 (typically from 12 pm-5 pm). Among the many highlights are Bob Baker Marionettes (September 7), Festival Ballet Theatre (September 14), and a prehistoric pet animal show (September 22). Families can learn about 70+ youth-serving organizations too.
