Black Star Canyon welcomes the public to a day of “Wilderness Access” on November 4 from 8 am-2 pm (no pre-registration required) and offers a Geology Hike on November 26 (9 am-11:30 am). Sign up for this hike (recommended for ages 8 and up) at. Round Canyon, in the Irvine Ranch Open Space, has a family hike on November 5 (3 pm-5:30 pm) that is suggested for ages 6 and up; register online.
