November 2’s free family festival at the Bowers Museum (11 am-3 pm) salutes the traditional Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos. Parents and children are invited to come out and enjoy themed activities along with performances by Mariachi Anacatlán, Relámpago del Cielo, Los Cuates, Xipe Totec, and Joel Aceves. Guests are invited to bring a photo for a community ofrendas (memorial altars) to honor family, friends, and pets who are no longer with us.
