“Deck Design: A Survey of Skateboard Evolution & New Normal Skateboarding Now” Exhibits

Two skateboarding-related exhibits are on display from June 4-August 27 at the Great Park Palm Court Arts Complex. “New Normal” examines skateboarding’s cultural contributions in America and across the globe in the last 70 years. “Deck Design” focuses more on how skateboards’ physical change over that time period. June 4 features a free, all-ages workshop (1 pm-3 pm) where you can make your own Slushcult-inspired fingerboard.
