Pretend City honors Asian Pacific Heritage Month on May 3, with an interactive Polynesian
dance performance led by Arts & Learning Conservatory. On May 4, the museum celebrates the
Japanese holiday Tango No Sekku (Boys’ Day) that’s dedicated to wishing health, happiness,
and strength to boys. May 8’s Cooking In The City, meanwhile, focuses on Japanese cuisine
and kids can taste Onigiri. Activities each day are centered around 11 am and 2:30 pm.
