La Palma’s Community Services Department has teamed up with the city’s Community Activities & Beautification Committee for this event that salutes the beauty of trees. This family event offers Arbor Day crafts, a coloring and poster contest awards presentation, and the Arbor Day Tree Sponsorship program. There will be the traditional planting of a new tree in Central Park too. This celebration occurs April 16, from 5 pm-6 pm in Central Park, naturally.
