Much has changed since Buena Park’s first Silverado Days in 1957; however, this three-day festival still comes packed with fun. There are pie-eating, horseshoes, and hula hoop contests, and live performances. A classic car show, a chili cook-off, and a mutt show. Admission is free, but carnival rides require tickets. Silverado Days happen in William Peak Park on October 20 (5 pm-9 pm), October 21 (10 am-9 pm) & October 22 (7 am-9 pm).
