64th Swallows Day Parade and Mercado Street Faire

San Juan Capistrano celebrates the famous annual return of the swallows on March 23. From 9 am-5 pm, the marvelous Mercado Street Faire fills the Historic Town Center Park with dance-happy country music, an array of food vendors, a kids play zone, and other family-friendly activities. The traditional highlight is the dazzling parade, one of America’s largest non-motorized parades, that winds through downtown San Juan Capistrano starting at 11 am.
