Moon bounces, field games, live entertainment, a petting zoo, and kids’ crafts are all nice attractions, but the day’s big highlights involve meeting the Spring Bunny and the “candy scrabble” egg hunts (which commence at noon for children 12 and younger and are divided up by age groups). Come early for the pancake breakfast that gets served up starting at 8 am.
Candy – thousands of pounds of it – gets distributed during the day’s egg hunts (visit its website for schedule details). Game booths, Easter Bunny photos, and live music equal more family fun. You can also learn about various community services (including summer camp and classes info.). Plus the city’s Kiwanis Club will serve a pancake breakfast and hot lunch.
This egg hunt isn’t your ordinary egg hunt – this is Tustin’s 50th anniversary egg hunt! The hunt starts at 9 am, but the festivities get going at 8:30 a.m. The morning’s merriments include pony rides, a BMX live show, inflatables, game booths, a petting zoo, and “kreepy kreatures.” Also making an appearance will be the Easter Bunny!
Kids (ages 11 and younger) get ready for action – egg hunts will be rolling continuously from 8:30 am-11 am. The holiday merriment also includes carnival games and craft projects. Please bring a sack or basket for treat collecting. Also, parents are encouraged to remain out of the hunt areas so kids can enjoy their own goodies.
San Clemente hosts a trio of spring celebrations today. From 9 am-12 pm, the Meadows contains a variety of amusements (like Bunny visits, bubble roller races, an Abbit the Average performance, train rides and games). Age-based egg hunts will happen from 10 am-11:30 am. The Aquatic Center features more fun – including underwater egg hunts and the Snorkel Bunny – from 12 pm-4 pm.
This Easter party might be the only one with a Skateboarding Bunny! There’ll be an all-ages egg hunt along with one for youngsters ages 4 and younger. Plus there’ll be bounce houses, crafts, games, and (at noon) a fun color blast. The event, lasting from 11 am-1 pm, is limited to 200 people, so don’t be late.
Dogs, cats, fish, llamas and goats – oh my! This popular animal expo presents a menagerie of more than 1,000 creatures. Enjoy the wide array of competitions, exhibitors, and demonstrations; dog and reptile shows are perennial favorites. Children also can learn valuable lessons on pet care. Animals will be available for adoption, but please leave your pet at home.
