Gifts for Pets Just Food For Dogs

JustFoodForDogs

Our pets love to play, but they also love to eat. While some pets aren’t too picky about their food, it’s still important for their health to feed them quality meals. Orange County-born JustFoodForDogs has dedicated itself to serve just that: fresh meals made with whole foods that humans can eat, but made for our pets. Fresh meals are made in the company’s open-to-the-public kitchens and then frozen without any preservatives. They also offer a shelf-stable PantryFresh line that cooks ingredients at low heat, under pressure and inside the packaging, also without preservatives. For the holidays, the company is offering two Holiday Health Bundles in chicken and beef — including a copy of new book “Big Kibble: The Hidden Dangers of the Pet Food Industry and How to Do Better by Our Dogs,” one box of PantryFresh Chicken & White Rice or the Beef & Russet Potato, one bag of Chicken Breast Treats or the Beef Liver Bark Treats, and a JustFoodForDogs Insulated Tote. And don’t worry, JustFoodForDogs does have a couple of cat items, JustCats Fish & Chicken and Salmon Bark Treats.

Holiday Health Bundle (beef) $32.95, (chicken) $34.95, justfoodfordogs.com

Gifts for Pets Jackboys Dog Bakery Festive Treats

Jackboy’s Dog Bakery

Bakery owner Athena Yap wanted something better for Jackboy after the 2007 pet food recalls. She started making her own treats using only natural ingredients, and no added preservatives, artificial colors or flavors. Jackboy has since passed away, but his memory continues on in the fresh-baked goodies now available under his name for other dogs to enjoy. The bakery offers all kinds of dog-safe cakes and cupcakes, biscuits and cookies for holidays, birthdays or just to let your dog know he’s a good boy (or girl). All cake and cupcake orders are available for pick-up only at locations in Corona and Anaheim.

Prices vary, jackboydogbakery.com
