Poses to keep you sane, flexible for a Namaste-mazing holiday
Since ditching Turkey Day for a relaxing retreat is just not in the cards for most of us, Parenting OC has consulted with Marisa Wayne amd Nicolette David from GRIT yoga Newport Beach to come up with some poses to help us deal with the holidays’ most common ailments.
“The holidays are so easy to outpour and give, and we really forget to pause and give to ourselves when we are at the emptiest,” explained David. Pausing amidst the chaos for a quick minute of breathing and downtime may be just what you need to put the joy back in the holiday season.
Thankfully, all it takes is a few deep breaths and a few simple positions to and gift your cells with a boost of oxygen, and be on your merry way. Try these quick and easy yoga poses, and your body will thank you.
