The CHOC expansion was a $558 million project to bring state-of-the-art technology with family-friendly services to benefit patient care.
The second floor at the new tower is reserved for recreation and includes a safe, outdoor play area.
The emergency room at the new tower has 37 patient rooms that are slightly larger than a typical ER room.
State-of-the-art technology and equipment was brought in for the new expansion.
Designed with the patient in mind, the new tower is both serene and playful with activities and toys for children to play with.
The new tower holds OC’s first pediatric centered emergency department.
